Municipal Support – Community Clubs & Organizations Subsidy (Pilot Program)

Pilot Program

The Rural Municipality of Brackley is pleased to announce the Community Clubs and Organizations Subsidy Pilot Program. This program is designed to provide fair, transparent, and practical support to local clubs and organizations that help strengthen community engagement and well-being.

Program Overview

Through this pilot program, Council has authorized support for eligible clubs and organizations in the form of subsidized access to the Brackley Commons, promotion of events on municipal social media and more. The program is administered by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and applications will be submitted to Council for consideration.

Approved applicants may receive one or more forms of non-financial or financial support, subject to eligibility and program limits.

Eligible Supports

Approved clubs and organizations may be eligible for:

  • Discounted facility rental rates when booking the Brackley Commons
  • Event promotion through municipal social media, website, and on the digital sign located at the Brackley Commons.
  • Administrative assistance with identifying and applying for external funding related to club activities

Support provided will depend on the nature of the request, available resources, and compliance with program criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a community-based club or organization, containing at least 2 members whose primary residence in the Rural Municipality of Brackley.
  • Meet at least once per month (or a minimum of 10 times per year)
  • Be open to and accepting residents of the municipality
  • Provide activities or services that benefit the local community
  • Comply with all applicable municipal policies and regulations

Funding and Support Applications

Organizations applying for assistance that includes funding or discounted facility use must also:

  • Maintain an attendance record
  • Meet minimum membership and attendance requirements, as established by the Municipality

During the pilot program all clubs and organizations are welcome to apply. Additional documentation may be requested as part of the review process.

Pilot Program Duration and Review

This initiative will operate as a pilot program for 1 year and will begin accepting applications on Monday, February 2nd, 2026. The pilot program will be in effect until January 31st, 2027. Council will then review program outcomes, participation levels, and feedback before determining whether the program will continue, be adjusted, or expanded.
