Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Rural Municipality of Brackley that a Municipal Election will be held on November 2, 2026, to elect a Mayor and or Councillors for the term of office terminating on the 6th day of December 2030.
The nomination period for the positions noted above opens on October 7, 2026 and closes at 2:00 pm on Nomination Day, October 16th, 2026.
Nominations can be received at the election office 14 Union Road, Brackley PE by appointment by the Municipal Electoral Officer (MEO) or Returning Officer starting October 7 at the following times:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Candidates are responsible for confirming their eligibility to be nominated prior to submitting their nomination form.
The deadline for correcting elector information shall be no later than 11:59 am on October 21, 2026.
