Public notice is hereby given to the electors of the Rural Municipality of Brackley that a Municipal By-Election will be held on January 30, 2025, to elect two Councillors for the term of office terminating on the 6th day of December 2026.
The nomination period for the council positions noted above opens on June 11, 2025 and the deadline has been extended to 5:00 pm on Nomination Day, July 25th, 2025.
Nominations can be received at the election office 14 Union Road, Brackley PE by appointment by the Municipal Electoral Officer (MEO) or Returning Officer starting June 11th at the following times:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Candidates are responsible for confirming their eligibility to be nominated prior to submitting their nomination form.
The deadline for correcting elector information shall be no later than 11:59 am on June 24, 2025.
